About Me

Stephanie Kelso-Devey: Guelph, Ontario, Canada; After getting married and having 3 children of my own, I developed an increasing awareness & passion for children and families in need within the community. Through volunteering with various local organizations at home, I realized how challenges such as lack of family support, trauma, employment income and food can have such a serious impact on our children and how they see the world. Connecting with a family living in Uganda, opened my eyes and my heart even more. Hundreds of orphaned children are experiencing positive changes by an influx of help coming from all over the world. Hearing Uganda's story has showed me how our earth truly is a Global Village and how much we can learn and share even though we are thousands of miles apart. Africa? Haven't been there yet...but I'll get there soon. :)
